Product Description
This pattern gives you full instructions on how to knit, and felt, this gorgeous bag.
The finished bag measurements, when felted, are approximately 35 x 30 cm. but please bear in mind that felting is not an exact science, and finished measurements may vary.
Worked in the round on a 9mm circular needle, using The Mercerie's British aran yarn it will have a pre-felted tension of 12st x 18rws and a finished felted tension of around 18sts x 27rws. It is felted in the washing machine - and it’s very easy to do!
The knitted stitches will no longer be visible when the bag is fully felted making an extremely strong and functional bag.
You will need 2 x 50gm balls of Denim Blue, 2 x 50gm balls of Storm Grey and 2 x 50gm balls of Cloud White British aran wool.
If you are substituting a different yarn remember it must be 100%pure wool and NOT superwash - or it won't felt!
