Kettu

Kettu, the Finnish word for a fox, is a basic sweater for boys. A slit on the collar ensures that it won’t distress the small users.

DESCRIPTION: top down without seams, raglan sleeves, worked in the round as well as flat during the collar, the picture is duplicated afterwards

SIZES: 100 – 110 – 120 – 130 – 140 – 150 cm

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: chest 66 – 70 – 74 – 78 – 82 – 86 cm

YARN WEIGHT: fingering (14-16 wpi)

MATERIALS: 680 – 700 – 740 – 760 – 780 – 800 m, for the picture 7 m of white yarn and 13 m of orange yarn

NEEDLES: 2,5 (US 1.5) and 3 (US 2.5) mm or a size to obtain gauge

GAUGE: 10 x 10 cm = 28 sts and 36 rows

SKILL LEVEL: intermediate

TECHNIQUES: provisional cast on, short rows, duplicating sts
