1 skein Aran weight (#4) LionBrand “Heartland” Yarn; Color: Grand Canyon

Button of Your Choice (I used a 1 1/8 inch button) (And this is to secure the pompon to the top of the hat.)

1 Stitch Marker

Small Yarn Needle (Used for working in loose yarn ends and for attaching the pompon and button.)

Gauge: Using the H Hook, 4 single crochet in the back loop only rows = 2 rows of ribbing and is 1 1/4 inch wide (I crochet pretty loosely. If you crochet tighter, you may want to adjust to a larger hook to get your desired size.)
