Struck by repeated circular forms and perplexed with how they might be manifest in knitting, I’ve chosen a classic garter stitch rib to create strong vertical movement, and a fat Scandinavian-inspired cable to add a sense of buoyancy along the edge. These two aspects are laid on a bias-knit triangle to create an abstract, shape-shifting wrap, substantial like its ceramic forebears and sharing their color-block boldness and sense of scale.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Jupiter Wrap is worked on the bias. The cabled edge is added as the wrap is cast off.
