Product Description
The pattern is written for one size with the finished wing span of ca. 208 cm (82 in) and depth of ca. 52 cm (20.5 in), which you can easily adjust by starting with the garter edge section whenever you feel like.
Yarn: 400 g or 4 skeins of Highland DK by LITLG, 100% untreated highland wool with 225 m (246 yds) in 100 g skein, shown in colourway Camel; or ca. 900 m // 985 yds of any other heavy DK/worsted weight yarn or any combination of yarns to match the gauge.
Needles and notions: 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles; 4.5 mm (US 7) DPNS for i-cord tab cast-on and to use as a cable needle (optional); spare cables, spare circular needles to be able to try the shawl on; two stitch markers; a tapestry needle or a crochet hook to weave in the ends.
Gauge: 16 sts & 30 rows in 10 cm (4 in) on 4.5 mm (US 7) needles measured over stockinette stitch worked flat after blocking; 18 sts & 30 rnds in 10 cm (4 in) on 4.5 mm (US 6) needles measured over the textured pattern worked flat after blocking.
