What is Being Made

The Indulgence Wrap is a luxurious knitted scarf designed as a one-size accessory measuring 48cm (19 inches) wide by 150cm (59 inches) long. This intermediate-level knitting project creates an elegant wrap suitable for draping and styling, with an optional fringe finish for added sophistication.

Yarn and Materials

This wrap is crafted using Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend, a premium yarn composed of 70% extrafine merino wool and 30% silk. The yarn is distributed at 135 meters (148 yards) per 50-gram (1.75-ounce) skein. The project requires 12 skeins of yarn, providing ample yardage for the generous length and width of the finished wrap. The silk blend composition creates a fabric with natural sheen, softness, and breathability—ideal qualities for a luxury wrap garment.

Knitting Techniques and Stitches

The Indulgence Wrap employs cable knitting techniques as a primary design element. The pattern utilizes several cable cross abbreviations that demonstrate intermediate-level complexity:
