I LOVE STRIPES Bandana

The I LOVE STRIPES bandana is a small, simple triangular bandana with a striped pattern. It is ideal as a scarf for blouses and shirts, but also makes a very good headscarf or hairband - the perfect little accessory for spring and summer.

Techniques used: left- and right leaning increases, picking up stitches along side edge, I-Cord BO.

YARN

2-colored:

‚Pure Silk‘ by Knitting for Olive (100 % Bourettsilk; 250 m/50 g), 1 ball in MC + 1 ball in CC (2 balls are enough for 2 bandanas, if the main and contrasting colors are swapped on the second shawl) or

‚Verona’ by Lamana (50 % Pure Wool, 30 % Silk, 20 % Cashmere; 180 m / 25 g), 2 balls in MC + 1 ball in CC.

Single-colored:

1 ball ‚Pure Silk‘ by Knitting for Olive or 2 balls ‚Verona’ by Lamana.

NEEDLES

80-100 cm/32-40” circular needle size 3.0 mm (US 2.5/UK 11).
