Houndstooth is a classic and always in style! It has been around, at least, since the late 1800s. It was originally a Scottish woven pattern, but modern haute couture has taken it to grand and varied places. This pattern uses a small houndstooth print that is often called “puppytooth”.
This is a pattern for a houndstooth hat, worked in the round, using the stranded technique. Size may be easily changed through yarn weight and needles size.
