Inspired by a small hotel nestled in the Cairngorm National Forest, Hotel Aviemore is a stylish earwarmer knitted in the round with slip-stitch detailing that is perfect for using up stash yarn. This design knits up quickly, and the finished item is easy to wear with many different wardrobe styles-whether skiing in the Highlands, running late to class, or walking the dog in town.

While this earwarmer is quite stretchy and adaptable, size labels are only guidelines. Please choose the size closest to your own measurements.

Fitting 14(16.5, 19, 21, 22.5, 24)" head circumference

Gauge 24 sts & 24 rows in 1 x 1 in twisted rib with smaller needles = 4 in/10cm.

20 sts and 26 rows in slip-stitch pattern with larger needles = 4 in/10 cm.

Requires 40 (50, 60, 70, 80, 90) yards worsted weight yarn (Samples shown in Berroco Ultra Apaca in “eiderdown,” and Cascade 220 in 2425 “provence”).
