Materials: 100 (100, 100, 200, 200, 200, 200) g 10 Ply ( Worsted weight) yarn in your chosen horse colour.
I used Cascade 220 Heathers.
Remnants of red, white and black yarn for eyes and halter.Remnant of novelty fur yarn for mane.

Knitting needles: DPN's 3.75 mm or US 5
darning needle
The combination of the thicker yarn with the smaller needles created a cosy, hard wearing knit, just right for warm slipper socks.You can make plain slippers using this pattern also. Just omit the embellishments.This pattern is knit in the round.

This pattern is fun and easy to follow. I like that it includes many sizes, 6- 12 months, 1-3 years, 4-6 years, 8-12 years, small woman's, medium woman's, and men's. I made the size 8-12 years slippers, they are very cute.
