“Home Again” Sontag Shawl

This is a comfort shawl, wrapping around and providing a hug and security of home. This is a historical style of triangular shawl that wraps and ties at the back with long tails. I have added the stocking stitch border for interest and to also keep the simplistic style to the piece. I have created it here in a medium brown 100% wool in keeping with the period it would have been worn.

it can be created in any aran weight yarn and worn in many different ways, tying at the back or if the tail length allows bringing back around and tying in the front.
