Hayfield Bonus Aran with Wool

Haven't started this batch yet, but know the product really well. It has a wool content which is important to me. Have used it for the past. 10 years and always manage to wait until the price is fantastic. Large 400 g balls,less ends to sew in. Can make garment longer than pattern suggests, knowing that you have plenty of yarn. Always buy 4 so there is no post and packing to pay. This yarn is lovely. 400g and not a single knot or join in any of the balls I've bought. It knits up beautifully and there's a fantastic range of patterns available.

Excellent wool - used many times before. Knits up well, wears well and washes well.

3 balls ordered for 1 item 1 ball was different dye number I was disappointed and have returned the wool as I would not put all that work into a garment to find a shade difference

I use Hayfield Aran frequently. It knits up well, with no knots or thin bits and it doesn’t stretch. There’s a good shade range and I love the 400g balls. I knit snoods for a greyhound charity, so I don’t use a pattern, but Hayfield knits up to the approximate size given in the snood description.

Beautiful wool in a wide range of colours. Great stitch definition and soft comfy feeling to knit with. The acrylic/wool blend is perfect. I usually knit in all wool, but this knits up in a very pleasing way with no scratchiness or shine.

I'm knitting an Aran jumper and I know I can rely on the tension of the yarn and the fact that will be easy to care for when the garment is finished. The same wool in a local shop was actually 30%dearer!

I bought 3 skeins of this yarn to crochet a blanket and it is excellent. It's easy to work with, it does not split and so far there have been no knots it in (I'm halfway through the second skein). The blanket it going to be very cosy, I'm really pleased with how it's turning out.

Lovely quality wool and an excellent price for a 400gram ball. It is knitting up extremely well and no knots in my first 400gram ball. Would definitely buy again.
