Product Description
Golden sunlight, golden fields, a slight chill in the air as autumn arrives; all are reflected in Harvest Moon. Worked from the bottom up with a wavy lace edge, Harvest Moon is just what you want to wear when the leaves start to turn.
Pattern includes both written and charted instructions. This pattern has been professionally tech edited by Katherine Vaughan and test knit.

Needles and Gauge
The pattern calls for US 8 (5 mm) and US 9 (5.5 mm) circular needles, each at least 40 inches or longer. Circular needles accommodate the increasing number of stitches as the shawl grows from the bottom edge upward.
The recommended gauge is 15 stitches and 24 rows per 4 inches (10 cm) measured in stockinette stitch on the smaller US 8 needle after blocking. While gauge is not critical for fit since shawl sizing is flexible, variations in gauge will affect the final dimensions and total yardage needed to complete the project. Knitters should swatch and block to determine their personal gauge before beginning.
Finishing
