Half Stripe Shawl

Beautiful, geometric shawl, worked from the cast on tip to the bind off edge with some clever shaping. This shawl is a great stashbusting project, you can use any colors you like and even work each stripe in a different color!

YARN: Fingering weight yarn, approximately: 780 yds / 714 m MC, 205 yds / 188 m CC1, 190 yds / 174 m CC2

Shown in Brooklyn Tweed Loft (100% Targhee-Columbia wool, 275 yds / 251 m per 50 g skein), Sweatshirt as MC, Tartan as CC1, Sap as CC2.

NEEDLES: US 6 / 4 mm needles

NOTIONS: locking stitch marker, row counter, tapestry needle

GAUGE: 20 sts and 31 rows in Stockinette stitch = 4” / 10 cm after blocking. Gauge is not crucial for this project but will affect the amount of yarn used and the final size of the shawl.
