Granny Weave Blanket

A two colour, geometric crochet blanket pattern which combines the classic solid granny square with the basket weave stitch.

Skills: This pattern is suitable for intermediate crocheters, though crocheters who are familiar with solid granny squares and post stitches should find it relatively straightforward. The pattern includes a link to a video tutorial (left and right hand) and a photo guide for the first 8 rounds. The pattern uses extended crochet stitches worked in the front and back posts. Stitch descriptions are given in the pattern.

Materials: For the item pictured I used approximately1300g / 2100m Aran or Worsted weight yarn and a 5.5mm crochet hook.

Size: You can keep working the pattern until it reaches your desired size.

This pattern is not intended for use as a baby blanket.
