Grace

A long lacy scarf worked in sport weight yarn.

Pattern starts with the lace strip, instructions for this are both written and charted, stitches are then picked up along one edge and garter stitch short rows are worked. Stitches are then picked up along opposite edge and stocking stitch ruffle is worked.

Materials 741m/810yds sport weight yarn. Sample knit in: Lorna’s Laces, Sportmate, (70% Superwash Merino, 30% Outlast Viscose; 247m/270yds, 100g: Putty, 3 skeins).

Needles and notions 4mm (US 6) Straight and 100cm/40” Circular Knitting Needles.

Tension/Guage 17 sts and 28 rows to 10cm/4” in stocking stitch.

Measurement 196cm/77” across top x 25.5cm/10” high at centre.
