Gorgeous George Bear Tea Cosy

George is the name my mother gave this design, in fact all bears my mother liked were called George in memory of the bear she never had as a child.

Written in English using USA terms with British terms listed for comparison. You will need to be able to create a magic ring, increase and decrease. The pattern uses, SC, HDC and DC.

This design should fit a Teapot (4 cup) 1 litre, 24cm wide (48cm circumference around the widest part of the teapot).

The yarn is held double throughout and therefore for ease of use 2 balls/skeins of Paton DK 100g yarn is suggested.

Note:

Finished head size: excluding the snout and ear measurements is 11 inches in circumference.

Arm length = 5 inches

Body Height = 6 inches

Body Width = 8 inches (un-stretched)

Leg Height/Foot length = 3 inches
