Due to the DK wool and the additional bottom folded cuff, the hat keeps really nice and warm even in strong winds. And the ribbed pattern is so elastic that the hat always fits.

DK yarn with an approximate yardage of 200m / 100g.

Alternatively, you can just use fingering yarn with a yardage of about 400m / 100g – yarn held double. That’s how I did it.
