Giraffe

Meet our Giraffe. He's cute, cuddly and ready to take on any challenge life can throw his way. With a long straight neck, little horns and big ears as well as 4 fully articulated legs, this giraffe is ready to nose its way into your heart.

While our Giraffe is complex looking for big wows when it's all knit up, this pattern is not too difficult for an intermediate level knitter or an advanced beginner looking for a challenge. Go slow, be patient and remember to untwist your yarn often. :)

You will need ~ 90 m of medium weight cream yarn, 60 m of medium weight light brown yarn and 20 m of medium weight dark brown yarn. With this yarn, use 4 mm (US size 6) needles. You will also need a small amount of black yarn for the face, stuffing (we use ecofil or wool) and a tapestry needle to sew your Giraffe together.

Use the yarn we suggest, or any yarn you like. This pattern scales easily, so any thickness of yarn works beautifully.
