Gathered Ridges Ear Warmers

This is a beginner level loom knit pattern for ear warmers that can be done on any round loom.

Select appropriate loom size for recipient and yarn for gauge of loom. I recommend for head circumference of 21-23" (most toddlers to adults) either a 1/2" gauge loom with 55 pegs (cindwood loom) or 3/4" gauge loom with 36 or 37 pegs (cindwood, knifty knitter, boye). For larger head sizes use either 1/2" gauge loom with 59 pegs (cindwood looms) or 3/4" gauge loom with 40 or 41 looms (cindwood, knifty knitter, boye).

Besides a loom you will need appropriate weight yarn. Samples were done using bulky yarn (#5) and used not quite half of a skein (109 yards).
