Fur Trimmed Mittens Extra Warm

The densely knitted fabric makes these mittens extra warm. The cuffs are trimmed with wool fur adding a touch of glamour and sophistication. The curved top is a pleasing shape and allows for ample wiggle room. These mittens are knitted holding two strands of #4 worsted weight yarn giving the knitter endless possibilities for selecting colors that complement each other. Other choices are to use the same color yarn for both strands with a contrasting fur yarn around the cuff or the same color for both strands and the fur. Think of the possibilities.

The mittens are knitted identically so they can be worn on either hand. Instructions are provided for shortening and lengthening .
