The Frosted Socks are a design that I have long wanted to create. For many years this pair of socks has been a dream in my head, and I'm so thrilled that now they have become a reality.
The sweet lace pattern is a short straightforward repeat, that is highly addictive to knit. It also has a ribbed element, so it makes for a well fitting sock.
As I wan knitting these, the stitch pattern brought to mind those chilly days when you wake to look out onto a world coated in a sparkling frost. They make the perfect first lace pair of socks, but are equally as enjoyable for a more experienced knitter.
The socks feature a heel flap and gusset and my Umbrella Toe. The lace is written and charted and the pattern contains a video showing how to knit the lace repeat.
The pattern is written for the magic loop method, but other methods can of course be used.
