Welcome Freddie the fox on this cute autumn beanie! He is accompanied by mushrooms and the forest. The top is especially lovely showing some big trees.
Please note: there are some rows with three colors (fox) so it's not real fair isle completely, there are quite some color changes and it's a bit more difficult to knit. So it's a beanie for advanced fair isle knitters. But as most rows have at most two colors in one round it also can be tackled by stranded knitting beginners.
You can use any 4 - to 5-ply yarn (sock yarn, Merino or Acrylic). Thanks Uta and Eva for testknitting it. And special thanks to Uta for sending me her beanie for taking pictures. You are soo great! I could not knit this beanie with my arm right now...
