FOREST DUO - worked in the round TWO HAT PATTERNS IN ONE
Using cosy Aran weight/worsted/10-ply yarn, these two hats are perfect for the whole family, with a folded band that gives extra warmth where you need it most. The pattern is suitable for any yarn with a manufacturer’s recommended gauge of 18sts and 24 rows over 10cm using 5mm needles. See pattern for more details.
There is choice of two stitch patterns and the option to add a pom-pom.
Skills Required: knitting in the round, knit and purl stitches, yf and yb, k2tog and p2tog (or ssp) decreases.
The Purl Ridge Hat is knitted on a 4mm circular or dpns with a gauge of 18sts to 10cm.
For the Open Check Stitch hat you will need either 4mm circular, 5mm circular AND 5mm dpns OR 4mm and 5mm dpns.
