Inspired by European Renaissance architecture, the Firenze pullover features the cable motifs, accentuating the round yoke and feminine three quarter sleeves. Worked seamlessly from the top down, this pullover is quick and satisfying project.
Finished Measurements 35¼ (38½, 40½, 45, 49, 54, 56¾)”/89.5 (98, 103, 114, 124.5, 137, 144) cm bust circumference. Intended ease: + 2-6”/5-15 cm. Shown in size M (40½”/103 cm) on 38”/96.5 cm bust with 2½”/6.5 cm of positive ease.
Gauge 23 stitches and 34 rounds = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch on size US 4/3.5 mm needle, after blocking.
Yarn Sport weight yarn (approximate amounts): 950 (1050, 1100, 1250, 1400, 1550, 1650) yds/869 (960, 1006, 1143, 1280, 1417, 1509) m.
Needles Size US 4/3.5 mm: 24-32”/60-80 cm circular and set of double-pointed. Size US 3/3.25 mm: 24-32”/60-80 cm circular (optional: spare needle of same size), 16”/40 cm circular and set of double-pointed. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.
