It felts wonderfully, is reasonably priced, and comes in a wide range of solid colors.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA substitute yarn needs to be a NON-superwash wool, or a wool\/alpaca blend, in order to felt. Superwash and synthetics will not felt.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGauge:\u003c\/strong\u003e 16 sts and 20 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Stockinette with size 10 ndls or size to give gauge.
