This feather scarf knitting pattern is knit with Aran / worsted weight yarn. The design features a beautiful pattern of 6 feathers.
Size: approx. 17 x 170 cm / 6.7 x 67 inch Needles: US size 8, UK size 6 (= 5 mm) and a cable needle Yarn for needle US 8 and UK 6 = 10 ply, Aran, worsted, approx. 165 grams (= 300 meters or 328 yds)
This scarf is the perfect example of how you can take knit stitches and craft them into something unique and interesting. The stitches used for these Feathers are for intermediate knitters. The back of the scarf is as beautiful as the front. (see last photo)
It is a completely written pattern.
Some knowledge of the following would help in making this scarf: basic knit stitches, cable knitting, knitting stitches together, increasing and decreasing and slip stitches. I recommend blocking after knitting this scarf!
