Farrowing House Blanket

This richly textured baby afghan looks much harder than it is. An easy ribbing makes for an interesting fabric that doesn't roll, and borders are knitted on in up to 4 colors.

This is my go-to blanket for friends that are expecting- knit the middle in a gender neutral color and put on a different colored border once you know the sex of the baby! Is also beautiful when worked up in one color, or in deeper colors for an adult's lapghan.
