Falcon Family Hat

This black, white and gray hat is designed to look like the feathers on a Peregrine Falcon, from the talons on the brim to the beaks on the crown. Pattern calls for 16" circular needles in sizes 2 and 3, plus double-point needles to close up the top. Kits and yarn packs are available with 100% wool yarn sufficient to knit this sophisticated yet whimsical design. Finished hat is lightweight enough to wear from fall through spring.

Yarn packs for Mrs Knitter Designs patterns are available through the Mrs Knitter Designs website www.mrsknitterdesigns.com. Variations in gauge can be made to purposely personalize the hat size. The hat can be a tam by blocking on a plate rather than a bowl when finished.
