The Fading Trail Hood is an oversized hood with a squishy texture and modern look. This practical accessory combines the hood and neck warmer into one wardrobe staple. The hood is worked flat, back and forth. After the hood is completed, the cowl is worked in the round and finished with an I-cord edge.

Suggested Yarn: Isager Soft, 343 yds / 314 m (approx. 2.5 skeins) OR yarn with similar gauge.
For this hood, fluffy and lofty yarns / yarn combinations work the best. For example, you can pair a strand of mohair or Suri alpaca with worsted weight yarn.
Gauge: 13 sts / 20 rows / 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches in stitch pattern.
Knitting Needles: 5mm, 60 cm / US8, 24 inch circular knitting needles &
5mm, 40 cm / US8, 16 inch circular knitting needles OR size to obtain gauge!
