Fade into Nippon

This shawl is a road trip through Asia. Yarn contains Yak and Silk and lace pattern is inspired by lace pattern from Japan. Last Part of this trip is Japan during cherry blooming season. Fade into Nippon is an asymmetrical shawl which is build due to increases at one side. The body is knitted in garter stitch and fading the three colors. Last step is a lace pattern which gives this shawl his unique character.

Yarn 3 skeins with different color of Silky Yak by Luxxyarns (65% Wool – Merino, 20% Silk, 15% Other Animal - Yak), 480 meters (437 yards) per 120g; Or approx. 1220meters (col. 2 + 3 each 480m and col. 1 approx. 260m) of a fingering yarn which gives you the required gauge. Sample knitted with Luxxyarns Silky Yak colors Lava Stone (1), Pink Rose (2) and Silver Lining (3).
