Easy Autumn Crochet Cowl

This super simple cowl is so easy to whip up you could be wearing it a day later! A beginner level pattern with a six row repeat and the ability to easily alter the height. The finished (blocked) dimensions of the cowl are 28x20 inches. Written in US Crochet Terms you will need to know how to do the following stitches, chain, slip stitch and double crochet to complete your very own cowl. Gauge is not included because I don't feel with a cowl it is super important. You will need a 4ply yarn and 4mm crochet hook. The yarn I used (and I would recommend getting a similar blend) is King Cole 'Zig Zag' 4 ply suitable for socks. I used one 100g ball with a small amount left over. It is a 75% superwash wool and 25% Nylon Blend.
