Easter Bear Basket is the perfect little basket to make in celebration of Easter. It makes a beautiful place setting and keepsake. It is the perfect Easter stash buster!
Sizes: The Basket is 7cm or 2.75 inches tall, and 6cm or 2.5 inches wide, the Little Teddy Bear is 4.5cm or 1.8 inches tall (made entirely of I-cords), and the Easter Eggs are 3.5cm or 1.4 inches long.
Materials needed: 3.25mm or 3US knitting needles; 3.25mm or 3US double pointed knitting needles (DPN’s); less than 10g or 0.35oz of beige double knit yarn; small amounts of brown, pink, blue, green, orange, and white double knit yarn; pink sewing thread; blue sewing thread; small piece of 3mm white ribbon; small amount of stuffing; and clear adhesive.
Methods used: Cast on using the thumb method, Knit, Purl, KFB, K2tog, P2tog, I-cord - knit a cord using two double pointed needles, cast off, sew the pieces together using mattress stich or the Bickford method.
