Design Inspiration and Construction

Designer Olga Olach created this cowl by casting on without a specific plan, seeking color and visual interest while awaiting the arrival of spring. The design concept emerged during the knitting process, particularly through appreciation of the reverse stockinette side of the fabric. The interplay of colors against the reverse stockinette background creates the visual impression of long stems and flower buds characteristic of early spring blooms.
