Dunedin shawl

When designing this shawl, I wanted to do something a little different with the body shaping; I combined short rows and decreases to create a shallow half-circle shape that’s interesting to knit whilst also being very easy to wear. The border features a symmetrically-centred cable based on one of my favourite Celtic knots – the sinuous lines remind me of rolling waves, perfectly suited to the marine hues of this yarn.

Also included is a larger semi-circular version of the shawl (not pictured), which features body shaping using only decreases and uses 2 x 100g skeins of 4-ply (the smaller size pictured uses 1 x 100g skein of 4-ply).
