Duchess Shawl

This sideways asymmetrical shawl is worked with an allover lace pattern creating interest and texture. Use a luxurious sport-weight yarn as suggested here. Or, a fingering or sock yarn could also work well. A rich colour like this deep purple will create a beautiful and luxurious shawl for any occasion. One skein of Madelinetosh Pashmina is used here (shown in Duchess).

Approximately 29 inches (74 cm) deep at middle point and 51 inches (130 cm) long across top edge, after blocking.
