Driftless Hat is the companion to the Driftless Mitts pattern. Both hat and mitts can be made using just 2 skeins of Malabrigo Rios, and both are excellent first-time colorwork projects. This is stranded colorwork using only two colors, and most of the hat is one-color stockinette stitch, so its a good way to ease into a new skill. They were named after the rolling hills of the Driftless Region in Western Wisconsin.
