A sunset.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eSitting on the steps at the back of my house, I often sit and look at the sunsets. They are a frequent occurrence especially as the spring turns to summer. The colours are so vibrant!\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eThis shawl has been designed for the yarn to be the main focus, to take centre stage and for its’ full effect to be shown.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eI settled on this striped design so that the colours of the sunset could work their way across the shawl. I set the raised coloured stripes against a plain pink background which represents the pink haze that surrounds a sunset.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eI used 691m of Colour A and 550m of Colour B. The sample was knit in Nako Angora Luks and Nako Angora Luks Color.
