There really isn't a truly specific yarn, hook or gauge required for this pattern. I used Red Heart Soft and a 6mm J hook, but you can choose your own.

When I say "customizable size", I mean it. You're making this to fit YOUR OWN PHONE, so there's no specific beginning count.
