Product Description
Diomena, Dia, Dione is a very unique design. It features intricate cables, 3 different skirt options (thus 3 different names for the design), and 5 different hemline finishes. This design covers a wide range of sizes, and provides you with a very engaging and fun project.
Diomena, Dia, Dione can be worked in cotton or wool and can me made either as a tunic or a dress. This design is perfect for all year round wear. Make it in cotton for late spring-summer or in wool for colder months. It can be worn as is or as a layering piece.
The dress/tunic can be knit in any yarn weight (fingering, dk, worsted, etc…), however certain yarn weights are better suited for certain ages but not others.
The pattern is written for:
- Fingering (4 ply): 6m to 3T
- DK (8 ply): 4T to 12-14 years
GAUGE Gauge (with main needle):
- 25 sts (fingering/4ply),
- 22 sts (dk/8ply).
Gauge per cable pattern repeat (width x repeat length):
- Fingering: 8.5 x 7.5 cm/3.25" x 3"
- DK: 9.5 x 8
