Diamond Back Laptop Sleeve (felted)

As a software engineer, I carry my laptop all over the country and then some. It takes quite a bit of abuse, so a laptop sleeve is a “must” to protect it from scuffs and scratches.

Unfortunately, it seems that the only choices in the stores are boring/nearly-boring solid-colored cases or playful/funky color designs—not quite acceptable in a business environment.

The Diamond Back felted laptop sleeve is just the right mixture of dark business-like colors and a snazzy design that will work for both women and men.

And if you don't own a laptop that needs to dress up, you could use this pattern to make a bag (just add a handle) or a great pillow for your favorite lounge chair... just thinking out loud. :)

Pattern Notes: The laptop sleeve is worked in the round, from the bottom up.

Skill level: Adventurous. Requires knitting in the round, reading a color chart, stranded color work, felting, and applying a zipper for closure.
