Delicate Balance has an unusual “half donut” shape worked sideways with short rows. The gentle curve obtained makes the shawl very easy to wear, because it stays put on your shoulder. The border is worked together with the body in one piece in relatively small repeats. The “lighter than air” look is achieved simply dropping some strategically placed stitches and letting them unravel to the other side of the shawl. Easy and fun!
