Dawn to Dusk Shawl

First came the yarn which was one of my first dyeing experiments. I immediately saw the color way and thought of dawn to dusk, I saw the beginning grey purples as the sun began to warm the morning skies with dove gray purples that then burst brilliant yellow as the sun took hold of the day, that then fades to reddish yellow and pinks/purples as the sun sinks downs at dusk to rest the night away, until it is time to do it all again. Do you see it too?

Techniques Used: Knit, Purl, yo, k2tog, ssk. Easy knit, great for a beginning lace knitter, sampler type of shawl. The yarn used in the sample was hand-dyed with food coloring and other natural plants.
