This has been the most popular Woolly Thoughts pattern for the past twenty years. That it is probably because it is so versatile. The grey photo shows nine different variations - and that's before you start adding any colours to it.

The easy-to-follow instructions allow you to make an afghan or wall-hanging in any yarn of your choice, to any size. It may look complicated but, if you can knit garter stitch, you can make this.

The yarn you choose will affect the overall size and the pattern gives other ways to change the size.

The pattern includes a colouring-in sheet so you can try out your own colours.
