Crochet Classic Prayer Shawl Pattern

This crochet pattern is very easy to follow, and creates the most beautiful and easy prayer shawl. It's super beginner friendly, and can be made up very fast too. This classic prayer shawl design features a simple one row V stitch pattern repeat that is very easy to crochet. Once the main part of the shawl is crocheted, a feminine and dainty shell stitch edging is then added.

This shawl is crocheted with 4 skeins of King Cole Big Value Chunky yarn, which is a chunky/bulky weight 5 yarn, which can be easily substituted with your choice of yarn.

The size of the finished shawl is: 17” x 57” (43 cm x 145 cm).
