Product Description
When its Halloween we alays get a few little ghosts come tot he door, and now with the Halloween Ghost tea cosy, we have a little ghost visit our teapot too.
Around the character in his Halloween costume is a Pumpkin and a little Zombie doll. Just little things that I thought the child might have as some of their Halloween dressing up things.
The Creepy Cuppa tea cosy is a lovely tea cosy to knit and reminds us of childhood and the fun of dressing up to look spooky. I love his hands and fingers, he looks as if he's wailing.
The tea cosy fits a medium sized tea pot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups.
The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting him very soon!
This product is the knitting pattern only to make your own Creepy Cuppa Halloween Ghost tea cosy.
Creepy Cuppa Halloween Ghost Tea Cosy
What is Being Made
The Creepy Cuppa Halloween Ghost Tea Cosy is a knitted tea cosy designed to fit a 2 pint teapot or teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups. This downloadable knitting pattern from TeaCosyFolk creates a festive Halloween-themed tea cosy featuring a ghost design with spooky details perfect for autumn entertaining and seasonal home décor.
Knitting Techniques and Stitches Used
This intermediate-level knitting project employs several fundamental knitting techniques. The pattern begins with a cast-on of 28 stitches and uses ribbing as a foundational stitch pattern, combining knit and purl stitches in alternation (K1, P1 ribbing). The construction method involves working in the round or flat depending on pattern sections, utilizing stitch markers to track pattern repeats and shaping points. The pattern incorporates double thickness yarn for select sections, requiring knitters to divide yarn balls and work with doubled strands as single strands for added structure and warmth. The design includes colorwork elements to create the ghost face and Halloween details, requiring careful attention to yarn color changes throughout the project.
