Crayon Fade

Crayon Fade is a shawl with five corners, designed for those of us that enjoy knitting stockinette stitch in the round. The shawl is started from the center with Judy's Magic Cast-on. You cast on several hundred stitches, and then work outwards. Increases are made is such spots that you achieve the shape that stays well on the shoulders. Colors are faded to obtain a smooth appearance.

The model shawl pictured is the small size. (The person holding it is 180 cm or 5’ 11” tall.)

Yarn: either light fingering weight held as is, or 2/28NM lace weight holding three strands together. The model shawl used ColourMart Cashmere 2/28NM Lace Weight (2070 m/150 g) holding three strands together. A light fingering weight yarn with about 460 m/100 g will match that.

In the model shawl color A is dark gray, color B is middle grey and color C is yellow.
