CP socks Ponta Delgada

This pretty border of a Calçada Portuguesa mosaic can be found in Ponta Delgada, the capital of the Azores. I think it's a must-have for my socks with motifs from Portuguese pavement art. Since the pattern for the border requires 19 stitches vertically, as in the photo, I made a second (horizontal) version. I then used it for the socks. Which do you prefer?

Diese hübsche Bordüre eines Calçada-Portuguesa-Mosaiks findet sich in der Hauptstadt der Azoren, in Ponta Delgada. Ich finde, sie darf nicht fehlen bei meinen Socken mit Motiven der portugiesischen Pflasterkunst. Da das Muster für die Bordüre hochkant, wie im Foto, 19 Maschen benötigt, habe ich eine zweite (Quer-)Version angefertigt. Die habe ich dann auch für die Socken genutzt. Was gefällt dir besser?
