Cove snood

Part scarf part hood - The snood. This design works equally well pulled over the shoulders for for those chilly days so I guess it's part shrug too!

Worked as a simple textured rectangle it's later seamed to form a tube making it great for beginner knitters. 

Skills required:

You will need to be able to work a basic moss st and cable pattern.

Materials:

This pattern is written for a chunky weight yarn . We used approx 4 x 100g (110m/120yds per 100g) but it's very easily adapted.

Tension:

13sts x 22 rows to 10cm/4in over moss st using 7mm (US 10 1/2)
