Courtney - 8ply seamless lace beanie

This 8ply Beanie is worked in a lovely but simple lace stitch and has a rib brim. The crown shaping rows are written out for you, to ensure the pattern stays correct while you are decreasing.

This pattern is worked in rounds, on a set of needles, without a seam. If you like this beautiful stitch but prefer to work in rows, on a pair of needles, and have a seam, please see my Peggy pattern.

Pattern sizes: Age 2-5 yrs, 6-10 yrs, Teen and Lady.

To fit head: 52 (54-55-56) cm [20½ (21¼-21¾-22) ins].

Yarn required: 1 (1-1-1) ball Patons Smoothie DK 100g balls@200m.

Needles required: A set of 4.00mm [UK 8, US 6] double-pointed knitting needles. Wool needle for sewing in ends.

Tension: 21 sts and 30 rows to 10cm [4 ins] over patt, using 4.00mm needles.
